Our RF Admittance indicators are ideal for safely monitoring bitumen and fuel oil levels, and are available as a single point level indicator and a continuous level indicator.

  • Unaffected by build up on the probe
  • Linearisation for continuous measurement ensures accurate level readings in upright or horizontal cylindrical tanks
  • Install and calibrate without emptying the tank

ED100 point level indicator - Ideal for use in applications where mechanical indicators or switches are prone to failure due to the abrasive or viscous nature of the material.

Probe: 1m standard

Power input: 110v or 230v ac 0.5A

Output: ED109 alarm unit or one volt free change over contact rated 230v 1A

Push button sensor testing: Our alarm units incorporate a test push button which applies an input to the sensor head to simulate a high level, so that the electronics in the sensor head and the audible and visual warnings can be tested prior to filling.

Optional items:

  • ED109 alarm unit with audible and visual warnings, incorporating alarm mute and test.
    • weatherproof enclosure IP67 - 90w x 255h x 60d (mm)
ED101 Point Level Indicator

ED201 continuous level indicator - Similar to the ED100 sensor head, but has a longer length probe, and is supplied with our dual display unit to provide "at a glance" contents and safe ullage readings.

Probe: 10m standard

10mm steel rod (horizontal tanks)

10mm steel wire rope and bobweight (vertical tanks)

Display: Weatherproof enclosure IP67

150w x 300h x 80d (mm)

Dual backlit LCD digital display

Power input: 110v or 230v ac 0.5A

Output: Connections for the ED109 alarm unit and two volt free change over contacts rated 230v 1A

Optional items:

  • 4-20mA outputs for onward connection to a PLC
  • ED109 alarm unit with audible and visual warnings, incorporating alarm mute and test.
    • weatherproof enclosure IP67 - 90w x 255h x 60d (mm)
ED200 Tank contents readout

Ellguard Tank Monitoring System - Designed as an aid to safe tank filling the system is suitable for use in bitumen and gas/fuel oil.

Features:

  • Continuous level monitoring with tank contents and safe ullage readings
  • Dedicated high and ultimate high level alarms with audible and visual warning
  • Electrically separate systems for failsafe monitoring
  • System test facility

Fitted with two independent level probes; one continuous, and one point, each probe and and its corresponding alarm are powered from electrically separate sources.

A rugged weatherproof control panel houses illuminated displays showing tank contents and safe ullage levels. Top mounted easily visible red and amber flashing lights, together with sounders, signal a warning if the tank level reaches the high or ultimate high level.

Independent test buttons are fitted for each indicator, enabling the operator to test the functionality of each level probe and it’s corresponding alarm prior to filling. Complete with repeater warning lights, and an alarm mute, the system is designed and calibrated in line with the current RBA guidelines on safe bitumen tank management. For tanks in excess of 30m³ a green panel lamp identifies when the tank has sufficient safe ullage to receive a full tanker (approx 28 tonnes)
